    Wondering where I find out when our favorite resorts are re-opening? Riverside and Animal Kingdom are two favorites. Thank you.

    Hello Donna! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside Resort and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge are two great resorts! I have had the pleasure of visiting both and can see why you enjoy them!

    There is a list of all available resorts on the Walt Disney World Resort website. The list will also show which resort hotels are reopening soon! At the present time, there are no updates regarding the reopening of your two favorite resorts. Please keep checking the Walt Disney World Resort website, as well as the Disney Parks Blog for the most reliable and up-to-date news regarding reopening dates. All of us at planDisney are wishing for some good news regarding more reopenings!

    While I have my favorite resorts, I like to try different resorts while visiting! In addition to your favorite resorts, you might also want to consider Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villa’s - Kidani Village or Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. Either of these resorts might be a fun alternative to try while you wait for your favorites to reopen!
