Wondering about Fastpass. If my two daughters (ages 6, 2) use a fastpass to meet a character, do I also have to use one of my fastpasses to walk them through the line? I’m aware of riderswap, but curious how this applies to meet & greets.

    Hi Leslie!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The FastPass+ system is a great way to make the most out of your trip because you can use the FastPass+ queues to enjoy some of the attractions and Character Experiences on your "must-do" list! All ticketed Guests using the FastPass+ queue to enter an attraction or Character Experience must have a FastPass+ reservation. When you are using Rider Switch, the little ones who won't be riding and their adult Guest staying with them don't actually enter the attraction queue. They are able to enjoy the other areas of the theme park while the rest of their group is the attraction or attraction queue.

So, when plan a FastPass+ Reservation for your daughters, be sure to include yourself or another adult in your group so they can enjoy the experience with them using the FastPass+ queue. My husband and I love being a part of all of the memories we make with our boys when they are seeing Mickey doing magic tricks, giving big high fives to Goofy and getting a sweet hug from Tiana! One strategy that my family uses to maximize our FastPass+ reservations is to book a few Character Dining experiences during our trip so we can meet with the characters our little ones are most interested, but save our FastPass+ reservations for attractions.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
