Hi Maria,
Welcome to planDisney! I am excited to greet a fellow early planner. It is never too early to plan!
Currently, you can book a vacation through the end of 2021. When I checked, if you started your vacation on December 31, 2021, you could book a stay into January of 2022. Since it looks as if your trip is a few years out, it is too early to book a
vacation package or
resort hotel with
theme park tickets.
There are, however, a number of other ways you can prepare. First, I recommend that you select dates for your trip as if you were traveling in 2021. Doing so allows you to get a baseline understanding of what the price might be. Once we have that baseline price, I then keep checking the
Special Offers to see what might be applicable to those dates. Even though I realize that prices will most likely change by the dates of my visit, getting that price early on gives me some understanding of how much money we might need to save.
Second, if you are not a frequent visitor, I suggest familiarizing yourself with the various resort hotels. Although we have stayed in
value resorts in the past, my family prefers
deluxe and deluxe villa resorts. They offer such fantastic amenities including the dining options.
Third, consider the type of theme park tickets you will need. When our girls were younger, we typically did not purchase the Park Hopper option because we took them back to the resort for a nap everyday. And, because I am always on a budget, I suggest that you price out your meals so that you have some idea of how much the food costs many be.
Maria, sending you all of the planning pixie dust. The good news is that you have plenty of time to work some magic!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
