I am wondering how far in advance I can book the Africa Trek in Animal kingdom? Is it 60 days out like it is for dining?

    Hi Meshell,

Welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy to hear that you are interested in the Wild Africa Trek at Animal Kingdom. That is absolutely one of my favorite Enchanting Extras at Walt Disney World.

The behind-the-scenes look at the animals is amazing, and the food served on the savanna is delicious. Plus, you can watch giraffes roam as you dine. My fear of heights is legendary in my family, so, whenever we do the Kilimanjaro Safari, I take great pride in pointing to the rope bridge over the crocodiles and saying, "I walked across that and I have pictures to prove it."

As with dining, reservations for Wild Africa Trek are available 60 days in advance. This is a popular activity, so I recommend making your reservation at the 60-day mark. In My Disney Experience, you also can choose a date range for reservations, which gives you more booking options.

Please remember that you will need a valid ticket for admission to Animal Kingdom in addition to your ticket for the Wild Africa Trek. And, if a park reservation is required that day, you will need that as well. Wear comfy clothes and closed-toe shoes. And bring your sense of adventure.

Good luck with your reservations, Meshell, and please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you as your vacation nears.

    Enjoy!
