Hi Brian,
Fantasyland and Mickey's Toontown Fair (now closed) were two different whimsical lands in the Magic Kingdom. Fantasyland is currently undergoing a huge expansion project which will nearly double its size & as part of the expansion, we said good-bye to Toontown.
Fantasyland is wildly popular for the young and young at heart. It features some awesome park favorites: "it"s a small world", Peter Pan's Flight, Mickey's PhilharMagic, Snow White's Scary Adventure (this will be closing at some point as part of the expansion), Prince Charming Regal Carrousel, Dumbo, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh & the Mad Tea Party.
There will be lots of rides for your toddler to enjoy but you will want accompany her, after all that's part of the magic and one of the visions Walt Disney had for his theme park - a place for children and adults to have fun together.
Your toddler old can ride any of the attractions where she meets the height requirements. You can find a list of the attractions with height requirements by visiting the
Traveling with Little Ones section on the Disney World Website. There you will find a PDF file on the right side of that page that lists attractions at all four of the theme parks that have height requirements.
You know your toddler better than anyone, but keep in mind that just because an attraction doesn't have a height requirement, doesn't mean that every child should ride it. Haunted Mansion is a great example of this - there is no height requirement but its dark and once you're on, there is no great way to get off of this 7 minute and 30 second ride.
Let me know if you have any questions about any specific attractions - I'm super happy to assist you. Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
