I was wondering if family style dining such as Pizzafari and Restaurantsaurus use Counter Service credits or Table Service? We are travelling in September 2019 and have the Counter Service dining package. Also are there any other options like these?

    Hi Amy,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow Canadian!

I really like the fact that there are now “family style dining” options at select Quick Service Disney dining locations. I think it’s a great way for families to get great value out of their Disney Quick Service Dining Plan entitlements. From what I understand, both Pizzafari Family-Style Dining and Restaurantosaurus Burgers and Sundaes will both accept one quick-service dining entitlement, per person, in order to eat there. So you should be able to dine there using the Disney Dining Plan you’ve purchased.

For the moment, these two locations, both located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park, are the only ones that offer this dining option. That being said, similar options may roll out at other options in the future so keep an eye on sites such as the Disney Parks Blog for more information as you get closer to your September 2019 trip.

I hope my answer helps you plan a delicious Disney Parks vacation! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
