I was wondering if its a expensive trip to go to WDW? Traveling with 6 people. Is it going to leave a big hole in my wallet? We are planning to go in February 2012 and I'm not too sure if its going to be expensive. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Hello Aaisha!

What a great question!!  I have a large family (two adults and five kids), and I can totally understand your question about traveling to Walt Disney World on a budget!  I am living proof that you can have a MAGICAL Disney World vaction on a tight budget!!!!

First, you are choosing a great time of the year to plan your Walt Disney World Vacation because of the nice, cool weather and the historically lower crowds.  Typcially, Walt Disney World will run special promotions during February. What you need to do is check www.disneyworld.com in the next few months to find out what promotions they could be running in February 2012.  Another idea is to sign up for either mousesavers.com or allears.net email lists.  These sites will sent you alerts when new Walt Disney World promotions are being offered.

Second, the most affordable resort for a family of six on a budget is Disney's All Star Music Suites!  My family has stayed here multiple times, and we LOVE it!!!  It has two bathrooms (HUGE PLUS), a kitchenette, and a nice sized living room area.  To find out about this suite and other resorts that will accommodate five or more people click HERE.

If you compare the cost of a Disney World Vacation to any other vacation for your family, I know you will find that a Disney World Vacation will fit within your budget.

If you have other questions about budgets or planning, please let me know!

    Have a MAGICAL day!!!!
