Hi! I am wondering what to expect November 1st in the parks - will the big pumpkin still be there? Will there be fireworks that first week in November?

Hi Marissa! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

The big Mickey Mouse pumpkin is adorable, isn't it? What a great photo opportunity. I understand if you're hoping to experience it when you visit in November. However, Disneyland Resort typically magically transforms overnight, meaning all those spooky details will come down as Halloween Time concludes on October 31. I'm sorry if that's not the news you were hoping for, Marissa.

Holidays at the Disneyland Resort will officially begin on November 10. However, if you're looking for festive details, there's a chance there will already be some holiday magic in the air and on the streets of the parks even on the first day of November! Be on the lookout for any festive holiday décor during your visit.

Even if the holiday decorations aren't fully out and the Halloween décor is down, you'll always find iconic locations perfect for your vacation photos. Everyone loves a photo in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park, but I also recommend the Disney PhotoPass location in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland Park by the Millennium Falcon. The PhotoPass photographers suggest super fun poses. We liked how ours turned out so much that we used it as our family photo. Cars Land in Disney California Adventure Park also has some stunning backdrops you won't want to miss. Lots of choices!

I hope this helps! Have a magical day.
