I was just wondering what the etiquette was for tipping the house keeping staff (maids) that clean your room? Is there a certain amount that's proper? Should you tip every day? Should you even tip at all?

    Hello, Heather,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Tipping the housekeeping staff (often called Mousekeeping) is something that some guests opt to do.  We leave $1 for person in our party each day, and I leave the tip under the little Housekeeping sign that is left in our room.  Some guests even opt to make individualized envelopes that say Mousekeeping Tips on them (a quick internet search for Mousekeeping Envelopes can show you examples and templates).

Tipping is not required and is certainly an individual decision. If you'd like to read more information about tipping at Walt Disney World, I'd encourage you to do an internet search for the article Tips on Tipping at Walt Disney World: Transportation, Restaurants, Hotels, and More by Erin Foster.
