    I am wondering if when you are eating at a table service restaurant if everyone in the group will need to have their magic bands scanned.

    Hi Kristyn!

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    When you are using your Disney Dining Plan for payment, only one person per reservation party will need to have their MagicBand scanned.  I am the designated "scanner" in my family! 

    Scanning one band will bring up the credit balance for your entire party and will be charged accordingly. You will also receive a receipt with your remaining credit balance.

    Now that my kids are teenagers and I no longer need a bag with diapers and snacks, I love the freedom the MagicBand has given me.  I put my phone in my pocket, strap the band on and I'm ready to go!
