Hi. I was wondering if you could do an early check in at the resorts. My flight lands around 10:30 am and I will have a carry on. I don't want to carry the bag all throughout the park. How do I request an early check in? Thanks!

    Hi Laura!

Absolutely, early check is possible! As soon as you arrive at Walt Disney World, you'll want to head to your resort. If you are using Magical Express, it will transport you from Orlando International Airport to your resort.

Upon arriving, head to the front desk and check-in. You'll then receive your Key to the World card (room key with park tickets, dining plan credits and charging privileges if you've opted for any of those). If your room is ready, you'll be given your room number and you're all set. If your room is not ready, then you'll have the option of having the resort contact you via text message with your room number when it is available. When the room isn't ready yet, bell services will be happy to hold your carry-on for you. Just drop it off there and you can head off to the parks!

When you do return to the resort, just claim your bag at bell services or call from your room to have it delivered.

There isn't a need to specifically indicate an early arrival on your reservation, but should you want to you can contact Walt Disney World reservations at 407-939-7429 or contact your travel agent.

    Hope this helps!
