Ahoy there, Emilee!
Welcome aboard planDisney! I’m so excited to hear that you’re setting sail
aboard the Treasure for a week of high-seas thrills and Halloween chills! My crew and I recently had the chance to explore this dazzling ship in March, and let me tell you—it’s a treasure trove of magic, mystery, and memorable moments. And as someone who’s sailed on three Halloween on the High Seas cruises, I can confirm: you’re about to experience the ghoul-est time on the ocean!
While entertainment is always subject to change faster than Maui’s shape-shifting skills, here’s your current schedule for your 7-night Halloween on the High Seas cruise:
• Day 2 (At Sea) -
Formal Night: Time to dress like royalty! Whether you’re rocking a full Belle ballgown or going DisneyBound as Aladdin, this is the night for glam Grand Hall photos and the Captain’s Welcome Reception (if offered)—keep an eye out for those sparkling sips and some snazzy officers in uniform.
• Day 4 (Grand Cayman) -
Pirate Night: Yo ho, yo ho—it’s time to channel your inner swashbuckler! Expect pirate-themed activities, a festive dinner menu, and fireworks at sea (weather permitting). My crew loves matching pirate outfits and singing sea shanties around the ship.
• Day 5 (Falmouth) -
Halloween on the High Seas: Grab your pumpkin ears and costumes for a day full of spooky fun! From Mickey’s Mouse-querade Party to trick-or-treating and eerie entertainment, there’s Halloween magic for all ages. Just make sure your
costume is family-friendly and leaves room to dance with ghosts (and Goofy).
• Day 6 (At Sea) - Semi-Formal Night: Think “chic but comfortable.” This is another great night for those keepsake photos in the Grand Hall—especially with that signature chandelier overhead.
Costumes, ballgowns, or cruise casual—what matters most is having fun. And if you want to be extra prepared, the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will be your go-to for final theme-night assignments and activity times once you're onboard.
Emilee, I hope this helps you feel more prepared than Scar at a villain convention. Here's wishing you pumpkin-spiced memories, pirate-packed nights, and a week so magical, even Merlin would be impressed.
Sea ya real soon with a June full of sun, sea, and shipshape adventures,
Dustin
