Hello, I was just wondering what the dress code is for the Be our Guest restaurant for dinner? I am going in August and it's going to be hot. Also what characters come out during dinner, and will my kids get to meet them? Thanks

    Hi John ~

You are going to love the Be Our Guest Restaurant (BOG). It is beautiful and the food is fabulous!

There is no set dress code for BOG. It is inside of the Magic Kingdom so as long as Guests are dressed properly to enter the Magic Kingdom, they will be fine in BOG. It will indeed be hot in August so make sure you drink plenty of fluids. Let me know if you want some tips on staying cool.

BOG is not a typical character dining location. Beast is usually available to meet Guests and pose for pictures as you leave following dinner. He also comes through the dining room occasionally but he doesn't typically stop to greet Guests when he comes through.

One of my favorite characters to meet in person is Gaston. He is so much fun! You can find him next door to BOG near Gaston's Tavern. If your family are Beauty and the Beast fans, I think you would really enjoy meeting Gaston before or after your dinner at BOG. Be sure to check the Times Guide on the day of your visit for his appearance schedule.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
