Hi, was wondering about the dog daycare facility

Hi Ginger, and welcome to planDisney! Let’s help you plan a tail-waggin’ time for your best pal at the Walt Disney World Resort!

A Walt Disney World vacation can be a treat for the whole family, including the four-legged members. If you prefer to bring your furry friend along rather than leave him at home, there are plenty of Pluto-approved ways to keep him happy and safe while you hit the Theme Parks. One option is the Best Friends Pet Hotel, located on Bonnet Creek Parkway right across from Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. You can drop off your very good boy or girl for a day of fun and pampering, or even arrange for a puppy sleepover if you need to leave them overnight. You’ll find a link to the Best Friends website about halfway down Disney’s pet information page, or by searching “Best Friends Pet Hotel” in your browser. They have lots of pictures, videos, and pricing information for your pup’s big adventure.

Did you know there are four Disney Resort hotels with dog-friendly rooms? Your pupper can join you at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, and The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. In addition, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside also has dog-friendly rooms, but as I'm writing this, that Resort hotel hasn’t reopened just yet. If you choose one of the dog-friendly Resorts, your doggo will get a royal welcome complete with his own “Pluto’s Welcome Kit” full of fun and useful items you might need during your stay.

Ginger, I hope this helps you and your best pal have a doggone good time at Walt Disney World! Please come see us again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
