Hi Penny,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I just got home from my family's second consecutive Walt Disney World Thanksgiving vacation, and I can tell you that most schedules were operating as normal throughout the holiday. In many cases, the parks had extended hours to accommodate the holiday crowds. For example, Magic Kingdom opened as early as 7 a.m. and stayed open until after midnight each night.

I know the Electric Water Pageant took place each night. I'm not sure about Thanksgiving evening, but I heard some other guests talking about attending the Spirit of Aloha show on Tuesday night.

One significant holiday exception: Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party normally takes a hiatus during Thanksgiving week.

I hope that helps. We have loved our Thanksgiving holidays at Walt Disney World. We may be there again in 2015.
