Hi, I was wondering if at Disneyland parks if they have you scan your finger print to enter.

Hi there, Kathryn, and welcome back to planDisney! We're so glad to see you again.

The Disneyland Resort does not currently utilize finger imaging. You can get to the park entrances by first passing through one of the security checkpoints at the Downtown Disney District, Disney's Grand Californian Resort & Spa, or the Disneyland Resort East Esplanade. Keep in mind that there are some permitted items that will not be allowed passed these checkpoints.

Once you reach the entrance to either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, they take your picture the first time you enter, which will be associated with your ticket for the duration of that ticket.

Another great option for ease of access to the parks is by using the MagicBand+! These give you hands-free access to the parks and at Lightning Lane entrances (if you purchase the Genie+ service or an Individual Lightning Lane), which ends up being quicker than pulling out your phone and using the Disneyland Mobile app. Plus, the new MagicBand+ is looking STYLISH for the Disney100 celebration!

I hope this was helpful, Kathryn! Please feel free to come back and see us if you have any other questions as you plan your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth.

    Have a Magical Day,
    Greg
