Dear Lisa,
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I'm thrilled to know you'll be visiting the
Disneyland Resort for the first time with your daughter!
At this time, all guests must have a valid admission ticket in order to enter the gates at the Happiest Place on Earth.
But I can guarantee you'll have an incredibly magical experience and you'll be glad you visited.
First off, the Disneyland Resort has plenty of options for guests with
mobility disabilities.
Depending on your daughters needs, you may be able to obtain a Disability Access Service card which would allow you to skip the queue at some of the most popular attractions.
Another possibility is for you and your daughter to enjoy certain attractions without having to remove her from her wheelchair.
There are also certain handicap accessible viewing areas for performances such as Fantasmic! and overall, your daughter is certain to have the time of her life!
I would suggest you make dining reservations at
Plaza Inn, where guests can enjoy a hearty meal with some friendly Disney characters that stop by the tables to say hi.
I also recommend purchasing a Disney PhotoPass in order to take home all the magical moments captured during your visit! I hope this helps.
Hakuna Matata!
