Hi, I was wondering, we R going to Disney World & staying at the Art of Animation the first week of Feb going into the 2nd week. What is the Weather like there??? We would really like to go swimming in the new pool.

Hi Ashley! I feel you have picked a great time for a Disney visit. You are heading there at a time when spring breakers haven't arrived and you are not staying during a major holiday. Good choice!

Weather in Florida is so unpredictable. In the past few years they have seen heat waves in December and freezes in January. On average you will find temperatures in February to vary between 49-72. When thinking about swimming I suggest you plan that for mid day when the sun has come out of hiding and has had a chance to warm things up. All disney pools are heated to about 82 degrees so it is more of the idea of how cool the outside temp is over if the water will be warm enough. Head to the parks in the morning and evening and enjoy the pool time mid day as a nice break.

Have fun and I am sure you will love this new resort at Disney!
