I was wondering if Disney is selling Blank Magic Bands for children under 3. I have 3 children 7, 5 & 2 and I am concerned my youngest will be upset without a Magic Band to match the rest of the family.

    Hi Renae,

The Magic Bands are the talk of the town these days! I have a feeling that 5 years from now, we'll all be wondering how it was ever possible to enjoy a Walt Disney World vacation without Magic Bands. I'm so excited to see how this technology continues to evolve!

I just used the Magic Bands a week ago with my family, and I think you'll be happy to know that my youngest child (15 months old) got a Magic Band of his own! It even had his name inscribed on the inside of the band, as well as on the box it came in.

Speaking of which, unboxing these little beauties reminds me of unboxing the products from that awesome computer company in California that's named after a piece of fruit. (I'm not sure if my boss Mr. Mouse would want me to say their name on this forum!) It's a really impressive packaging presentation!

Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

When you get your Magic Bands, you may find that they're way too big to fit the wrists of your children. If that's the case, they have an outer shell (gray in color) that can be separated from the rest of the band so as to make it small enough to comfortably fit a child's wrist.

You know the old expression, "Measure twice, cut once"? Keep that one in mind before you separate the two layers of the Magic Band because I don't think they can be reattached once you've completed the operation.

I hope that helps! Please feel free to write back if you should have any additional questions and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can.

    Best regards,
    Derek
