Hello, I was wondering if Disney Resorts charge a fee for "holding" a package that you would send pre-arrival to your resort? I recently read somewhere they are now charging for doing this, could you verify for me? Thanks so much!

    Hello, Vanessa!

We ship items to ourselves each time we travel to Walt Disney World Resort; it's a great way to get your sunscreen, liquids and other bulky items to your hotel, especially if your airline will charge you to check your bags.

At the time of this writing, Walt Disney World Resort does not charge Guests to hold a package which has been shipped to their own attention.  However, certain resorts may charge Guests to ship the package back home, should you need to do so.  (Contact the resort you'll be staying in and ask if there is a Business Center; those resorts may charge you for the shipment home.)

If you plan carefully, you might have just a few items left over at the end of your trip, saving you the trouble of having to ship anything back home.

I hope you found this information helpful!  Please send the Panel any additional questions you may have as you plan your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World!
