Hello, Kharen. I'm so glad you've stopped by planDisney with your question.
I think you will be happy to know that you can, indeed,
rent a stroller at all of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks and Disney Springs to use for the day. Stroller rentals for a single day cost $15.00 or you can rent one for the length of your stay and save a little bit of money ringing up at $13.00 a day. If you know you are going to need one every day that you are at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, I'd go ahead a do the length of stay rental, it will also save you some time when you arrive each morning. If you need a double stroller, you can also rent those as well. A single day costs $31.00 and multi-day rental costs $27.00. Stroller wagons of any kind are not permitted on Walt Disney World property and you won't be able to rent one while you are there. The strollers for rent are really nice and when my daughter was younger, she liked sitting in them. They are made out of a hard type plastic that is easily wiped out in case of spills and come with a sunshade, cup holders and a little storage area where you can keep your souvenirs you've collected throughout the day. Sometimes the plastic can be warm to the touch so I always brought a beach towel to lay down that my daughter could sit on. Because all of the strollers for rent do look the same, I also suggest bringing something from home that will help you recognize yours when parked in the sea of strollers at attractions. I would bring a brightly colored bandanna from home to tie on the handle or even purchase a Mickey balloon during our trip to tie on. Anything works, just something that you will make it stand out to you.
If you end up bringing a stroller from home, please note that the allowable dimensions have changed in the past few years. Like I mentioned before, stroller wagons of any kind will not be permitted inside of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Strollers must now fit within the dimensions 31” (79cm) wide and 52” (132cm) long or smaller. The good news is that plenty of strollers and even most double strollers fit within these
new guidelines.
Kharen, you will be able to rent a stroller when you visit Epcot with no problems. If you have any other questions before you go, please feel free to come back and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Have fun!
