Hello, Joe,
Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. When visiting, guests are welcome to utilize the
Rider Switch program at all 4 theme parks so that no one has to be left out if you have a little one who isn't going to ride an attraction. When you arrive at an attraction where you'd like to use the Rider Switch, just alert a cast member at the attraction who will let you know if it is available and how it works for that attraction.
For example, when our children were younger, my husband rode Big Thunder Mountain Railroad with our oldest son while I waited with our non-riding sons. When they were done, I used the pass I had been given to ride the attraction, but I didn't have to wait in the stand-by line. Also, I could bring along one additional guest, so our oldest got to ride again!
Since I knew we would be using this frequently, I did have some special experiences and treats planned for our youngest while we were waiting so they wouldn't feel left out not getting to go on all of the attractions.
Wishing you a magical trip! Please let us know if we can help with any further questions. -
Kara
