Hi Angela!
Welcome back to planDisney! As my friend Princess Tiana would say, your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is getting
closer and closer every day. This is the perfect time of year to
FALL into the fun happening around the parks and resort hotels!
Angela,
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort has such rustic charm and is one of my favorite resorts to visit on our trips. There is so much to explore here - from unique
recreation offerings to wonderful entertainment and
dining. In the past, it has hosted "Return to Sleepy Hollow" on select nights throughout the fall, which included an opportunity to take a photo with the Headless Horseman. Unfortunately, this hasn't been held for several years, and there have been no announcements about its return in 2026. While I know this may not be the answer you were hoping for, you can typically find the Headless Horseman leading
Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade at
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party if you have purchased tickets for this seasonal favorite.
Want another fa-
BOO-lous way to celebrate spooky season at Walt Disney World? I'd suggest stopping by
Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar at
Disney Springs! They currently offer a special
Halloween-inspired menu including Bone Kebabs, Alien Invader Sliders, and the Temple of Doom Margarita, plus the inside is decorated for a ghastly good time. If you decide to check it out, I recommend arriving close to opening time, since reservations are not available. Did I "rope drop" Jock Lindsey's with a few of my planDisney pals last year? Yes. Do I regret it? Absolutely not!
I hope this information has been helpful, Angela, and that you have a
SPOOK-tacular time visiting Walt Disney World! If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney - we're all ears!
Cheers!
Kristi
