I was wondering if Disney ever gives lucky guests a "sneak peek ride" on attractions that are opening soon? We are bringing our 4 yo daughter for the first time in April, and I'm so afraid she is going to miss the opening of the Frozen ride!

Hi Brandi! Because Disney is always adding great new fun things such as attractions and shows, our trips that we planned can never include it all.

Right now Disney has not given out a definite date for the opening of the new Frozen ride in the Norway Pavilion of Epcot. Some are saying May but we all know that can change many times. It doesn't happen often but attractions can actually open early so let's hope that is the case with this new attraction. Keep watching the Disney Parks Blog as more information is published.

Disney will often hold what they call "soft openings" for new things. Unfortunately, they do not announce when this will happen. If you are one of the lucky guests who are in the area at that time you might experience some extra magic. The "soft opening" can last an hour or several hours and can happen one day and then not again for another week or two. Because of this it is not prudent to just spend your time waiting as you will then miss so many other fun things in the park and still not get on a new attraction.

I will also be visiting in April and will be hoping that this attraction has an early start date. We will both keep our fingers crossed and hope we will have a Frozen time in Epcot during our visit!
