Hello and Welcome to planDisney, Andrea. Thanks for stopping by with your question.
I'm excited to see that you are interested in becoming a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder. Andrea, I've been one for years now, and I can say it is well worth the investment. Some of the perks I most enjoy are complimentary theme park parking, the use of the
Memory Maker for the entire year, discounts on food and merchandise and visit the Walt Disney World Theme Parks any day of the year isn't bad either!
However, you are going to have to wait a little longer to join the passholder family. At this time, the sale of new Annual Passes has been temporarily suspended. It hasn't returned to us since the reopening at Walt Disney World last summer. I don't think the program is going anywhere, however. Guests with active annual passes, like myself, are being able to renew for next year at this time. I think they are just suspending the sale of new annual passes as a means of limiting capacity since it is still under restrictions at this time. Keep an eye out over on the
Disney Parks Blog for announcements about the Walt Disney World Annual Pass program and when it may return.
Until then, Andrea, you have
two options for tickets at this time. You can purchase a standard Walt Disney World ticket that allows you to visit one theme park per day. The other option is to purchase a park hopper ticket that allows you entry into multiple Walt Disney World theme parks each day. There isn't a bad option but I personally love park hopping, it's my favorite way to spend a Disney Day.
I'm sorry I don't have more information for you at this time about the Annual Pass program. I have my fingers crossed that you'll be able to join the Walt Disney World Annual Passholder family very soon. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and
ask me.
Have a great day!
