When you purchase your
standard theme park tickets, they allow you to visit the parks during their normal operating hours. You can find information about their operating hours as well as planned entertainment for each day on the
Hours & Events Schedule page of the Disneyland Resort website.
If you're looking for discounts on tickets for your trip, then my suggestion would be to visit the
Special Offers page! This is where you'll find all the current promotions available for your upcoming trip.
When one park closes early for a special event, like Disney California Adventure Park will be doing on various days throughout the Halloween season for the
Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party, my suggestion is to purchase the
Park Hopper option with your ticket. This way, you can hop between parks starting at 11:00 AM.
When I've visited during this season in the past, I'll typically start in Disney California Adventure Park and then hop over to Disneyland Park in the afternoon for the remainder of the day. Then, since there is always at least a day or two between days this special event is held, you can reverse it the next day - start in Disneyland Park and then hop over to Disney California Adventure Park to see and experience it at night!
