Hi! I was wondering if a dining plan would be worth it. I have a family of 3 staying for 8 days and I want to save as much money as possible. Will we save money with a dining plan?

Hi Denise - thank you for your question!  The answer depends on where you plan on dining - are you reserving any table service meals or will you mainly stay with quick service options.  The best way to determine the value of the dining plan for you would be to map out where you plan to dine along with the price of each meal.  You can get this information on menus that are posted on Disney's website or on unofficial sites such as allears.net.  Then, you'll want to compare that total amount to the amount the dining plan would cost you.  If you come out ahead, you know the dining plan is a good option for you.  I go through a similar exercise before each vacation and then decide if the dining plan is right for us for that particular vacation.  The answer varies for us since no two Disney vacations are alike.
