Welcome back to planDisney, Karen! Thanks for sharing your question with us!
I’m a big fan of the Disney Dining Plan because of how it helps my family’s vacation planning process. It’s nice to be able to plan around our quick-service and table-service credits, and as my kids’ tastes shift from Casey’s Corner to Chefs de France, it’s nice to have a set cost to budget towards.
When you purchase the
Disney Dining Plan, you receive 1 quick-service meal and 1 table-service meal per night of stay. That means that each member of your travel party would get 7 of each type of meal if you booked a 7-night stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. If you choose to do a dining experience that costs 2 table-service credits, such as Hoop-Dee-Doo-Revue, then you’d be left with 5 table-service credits and any remaining quick-service and snack credits.
As you get ready to make your dining reservations, remember that you can search all dining locations on the
Walt Disney World website and
My Disney Experience mobile app. You can filter the results by “Fine/Signature Dining” and “2026 Disney Dining Plan to find many of the 2-credit dining experiences available at Walt Disney World.
If you are visiting with any kiddos, remember that kids ages 3–9 can get a free Disney Dining Plan in 2026 when you purchase a vacation package that includes a room at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel and a dining plan for each guest in your party ages 10 and up. You can find more info on this special offer
here.
I hope you find this information useful, Karen. As your trip approaches, don’t hesitate to come back with any other questions. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!
Magical travels!
Matt
