Wondering about our dining plan. We have the 1 quick service and one table service meal. Can you make the table service into a quick service? We have a very picky eater and one of the parks all of the table places do not have anything he will eat.

Hello Heather! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I usually become very particular about where we redeem our Table Service and Quick Service credits for the Disney Dining Plans. On our last Walt Disney World Resort vacation using the Disney Dining Plan, I fit in dining at Cinderella's Royal Table, the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue and Tusker House Restaurant. It was a good vacation!

When redeeming Disney Dining Plan credits, the general rule of thumb is that you can trade down but not up. Most Quick Service Dining Locations will accept Table Service credits for a meal. Just be sure to inquire with a Cast Member ahead of time and inform them of your intentions.

To get the maximum value out of the Disney Dining Plan, you will not want to redeem too many Table Service Credits for Quick Service meals. I recommend you search through the wonderful dining locations at Walt DIsney World Resort and find locations that even a picky eater will enjoy. My kids are picky eaters so we book many Character Breakfasts which are safe bets for enjoyable food, solid entertainment and are a good use of Disney Dining Plan Credits.

I look for Table Service dining locations like Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria in the Italy Pavilion in Epcot's World Showcase. They serve delicious pizza that even the pickiest of eaters will enjoy.

    Bon Appétit!
