Hi I was wondering what the difference was about the Gran Destino Tower Rooms or The Gran Destino Tower Club Access Rooms at the Coronodo Springs Resort. Also does the Tower room give access to the lounge?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Connie! It’s always fun to help a fellow Canadian make plans for their magical vacation.

Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is one of my family’s very favorite Walt Disney World Resort hotels. The minute I see the beautiful Lago Dorado and shady palm trees and hear the relaxing Spanish music that plays throughout the resort, I’m in vacation mode. Ahhhhhhh…just thinking about it makes me happy.

Connie, the Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is almost ready to open, and I cannot wait to see what the rooms, club level lounge and amenities, and other Disney details look like. This Disney Parks Blog article reveals concept art of the Guest rooms in Gran Destino Tower – at this time, we don’t know if there will be differences between the design of the standard Guest rooms and the Club Level Access rooms, but I would guess they will be very similar.

Club Level access provides access to Disney Signature Services, including personalized vacation planning support and an on-site concierge. In the existing Club Level rooms at Walt Disney World, Club Level rooms also have access to a Club Level lounge, where snacks and drinks are available throughout the day. In the Gran Destino Tower, the Club Level lounge is called the Chronos Club, and is being described as a casual and relaxing place to enjoy light refreshments; you'll also find dedicated Cast Members in the Chronos Club who can help you with questions and planning.

I think that the Gran Destino Tower rooms are going to be gorgeous and I would absolutely book a stay there. My family stayed at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort this past spring, and the tower looks incredible. The Disney Parks Blog has had a number of stories about the new restaurants opening this summer – Three Bridges Bar & Grill (right in the middle of Lago Dorado – talk about a dreamy setting!) has some fantastic-looking cocktails and appetizers on the menu, and I cannot wait to try the coffee drinks at Barcelona Lounge

Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for announcements about Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort – as we count down the days until the Gran Destino Tower opens, there’s sure to be more exciting news. Once it’s open, an internet search for “Gran Destino Club Level” will find lots of photos and videos of the rooms and Club Level lounge. No matter where you choose to stay, I hope you have the most wonderful summer vacation at Walt Disney World Resort, Connie!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
