hi i was wondering what the difference was between the florida resident 4 day park pass and the florida resident 4 day discover pass ?

Hi Jeffrey! Thanks for stopping by to see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

There are so many great ways for Floridians to enjoy a visit to Walt Disney World, I understand how it can be a little confusing. The Florida Resident Discover Disney ticket is a special offer that is only available for a limited time. Right now, Florida residents can buy a 3-day or 4-day version of this ticket, and must use it by June 5, 2015, except for the blockout dates of March 30 - April 9 at Magic Kingdom park only.

On the other hand, the regular Florida Resident 3-Day and 4-Day ticket is available throughout the year, and expires six months from the date you first use it. If you're thinking about this option, the blockout dates you need to keep in mind are March 28 - April 10 and June 6 - August 13, and apply to all four parks, not just Magic Kingdom.

And of course, there are Florida Resident Annual and Seasonal Passes, which give us a whole year of fun at our favorite vacation spot!

Just remember that while you can order Florida Resident Tickets online, you'll need to show your proof of residency before you can actually use them to get into the Theme Parks.

I hope this helps you navigate all the options that Florida residents can choose from. Please visit again if you have any more questions. Wishing you a magical day!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
