Hi! I was wondering if any more details regarding Rapunzel's October 2nd coronation at Epcot have been released? We plan to be at Disney that weekend, and are so excited to take part in this special event with our 6-year-old Rapunzel fanatic!

    Hi Shannon,

The Worldwide Celebration to Honor Rapunzel, 10th Member of the Disney Princess Royal Court will be star-studded ceremony which will take place on 2 October 2011 at Kensington Palace in London.

According to the Disney Parks Blog post from 14 June 2011 which you can see HERE, all ten Disney Princess characters will be there, joined by VIPs, celebrities and little princesses from around the globe. The festivities will include a procession through Hyde Park, party activities and an amazing welcoming ceremony.

As far as I know, no other details of the celebration have been announced as of yet and I have not heard about any special event that will be held at Epcot on the same day.

I would highly recommend that you subscribe to the Disney Parks Blog in order to receive any updates on the ceremony as soon as they are released.

Wishing you a magical trip to Walt Disney World!
