Ahoy there, Deidre!
Welcome aboard planDisney! A Disney cruise is the perfect way to end your summer on a high-seas note, and your August itinerary aboard the Dream is chef’s kiss! Not only do you get to visit both of
Disney’s incredible island destinations—Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay—but you’ve also got some swashbuckling and snazzy evenings in store!
While the entertainment schedule is always subject to change (as Captain Jack might say, “they’re more like guidelines”), here’s the current rundown for your themed nights:
Day 2 (Castaway Cay):
Optional Dress-Up NightAfter a sun-soaked day playing in the sand and splashing in that crystal-clear water, it’s time to polish your glass slippers—or maybe just grab your favorite outfit and strike a pose. This night is a great excuse to feel fancy, but whether you’re rocking a suit, a sundress, or cruise casual attire, you’ll be right on theme. No Fairy Godmother required.
Day 3 (Lookout Cay):
Pirate NightShiver me timbers—it’s time to unleash your inner buccaneer! Pirate Night is one of my favorite Disney Cruise Line traditions. From pirate games and activities during the day to a themed dinner menu (don’t skip the Bananas in Paradise!) and a deck party that’s worth its weight in doubloons, this night is a treasure trove of fun. Be sure to pack your pirate gear and prepare for a swashbuckling good time!
Keep an eye on your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you’re onboard—it’s the enchanted mirror to all your onboard activities! I love sitting in the terminal before boarding starts and going through the schedule to "favorite" all the must-do events. It helps me plan my days and make sure I don’t miss a single magical moment!
I hope this helps you prepare for an amazing week full of adventure, pixie dust, and just the right amount of pirate mischief! If you have any other questions, feel free to send them my way—I’m always happy to help fellow cruisers get their sea legs.
Sea ya real soon with a June full of sun, sea, and shipshape adventures,
Dustin
