Hi... I was just wondering if I can have day guests visit me while I am staying at a DVC resort in WDW...and maybe use the pool If is allowed

    Hello, Maria Fernanda!

I hope you're enjoying your stay at one of the many fabulous Disney Vacation Club properties at Walt Disney World Resort. I'm slowly working my way through the list, but so far, The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney's BoardWalk Villas are my favorites. I'm sure you'll find a favorite too!

As my fellow panelist Matt shared here, guests of Disney Resort Collection hotels are typically permitted to have visitors. If arriving in a personal vehicle, they will need to check in with a Cast Member at the resort's entrance gate and may be directed to park in a different lot than registered guests. This ensures parking is available for overnight guests. If you are looking to add an overnight guest for part of your stay, you'll need to stop by the Front Desk to inquire. Keep in mind that additional charges may apply.

In my experience, pools are reserved for registered guests, but you are welcome to relax in your resort room, explore the hotel lobby, shops, and grounds, and grab a meal together if you desire. You'll even find walking/jogging trails at many properties, which are perfect for soaking up the beautiful resort theming and ambiance while enjoying a snack on the go. There are tons of amazing options right at your doorstep, so I'm sure you'll find the perfect one.

Maria Fernanda, I hope this helped. If you're looking for recommendations on where to eat and what to explore during the remainder of your stay, please come back and let us know. We're always glad to help!

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
