Hey Samie!
Welcome to planDisney! Happy early birthday to you! I love celebrating birthdays and every special moment in my life at Walt Disney World.
I love planning ahead and not having the dates for 2024 is also driving me nuts! However, I wouldn't worry as Walt Disney World will most likely release them soon! The trend in past years is for the dates for the following year to be released around the Springtime. Nothing is guaranteed but I'm hoping to see new dates released in just a few months. I would
keep an eye out and check in a few weeks.
I don't know whose birthday you are celebrating but I have some ideas to help make it special. First, make sure to stop by your
Disney Resort Collections Hotel or any Guest Relations in the Parks and pick up a "Happy Birthday" button to wear! I have even found the buttons at many of the merchandise locations throughout the Parks. Let everyone know that this is a special day! As a special treat, you can even
order a cake for your Table Service Meal. I had a delicious chocolate cake for my daughter's birthday that I ate the whole trip! An additional surprise is a lovely flower arrangement or gift basket from
Disney Floral & Gifts waiting for you in your room. If you are looking for something extra consider an
Enchanting Extra such as a
Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise or a fabulous show such as
Drawn to Life Presented by Cirque du Soleil® & Disney! Now, the two items I specifically mentioned are good for a 14 and 10-year-old. Make sure when looking at the Enchanting Extras to verify the ages that can experience each extra.
To answer your final question, if you are allowed to bring a 14 and 10-year-old to other places then you are allowed to bring them to Walt Disney World! Everyone who enters the Parks must have a valid
Park ticket with a
Theme Park Reservation, however.
There are so many ways to celebrate a birthday in Walt Disney World and I hope you find several magical ways to do it! No matter what, make sure to enjoy every moment, eat the cake, and laugh with your loved ones.
Let me know if you have any more questions or if you want any more ideas!
