    I was wondering how to create a special 'Santa' experience for my 6 yr old on Christmas Eve/Day. We will be staying at the Wilderness Lodge. Is he in the lobby Christmas Eve? Any suggestions traveling with Santa presents, decorating the room, etc?

    Spending Christmas at Disney World will be absolutely magical!

    When you check into the Wilderness Lodge, they should give you a list of all the special holiday happenings going on during your stay. You could also call ahead once its a little closer to Christmas and they firm up their schedules (407-824-3200). I haven't heard of Santa appearing in the lobby of the resorts but he does appear at several locations throughout the Disney World Resort. In past years, we've seen Santa at Downtown Disney in front of the World of Disney Store. Santa and Mrs. Claus also appear next to the American Adventure Pavilion in the World Showcase at Epcot. You can also see him at the Magic Kingdom in the Garden between the Main Street Chamber of Commerce and City Hall.

    The Disney Floral & Gifts Department can assist you with decorating your room for the holidays. They can do something small or fill your room with a Christmas tree and other decorations. You can visit them online at www.disneyflorist.com or call them at 407-WDW-GIFT. You could also pack a few things to decorate your room or wait until you arrive to purchase some things for your room. I love Christmas shopping at Disney because they have the cutest things ever!
