Hi, Ashley!
It sounds as if you have excellent plans already made for your upcoming trip to
Walt Disney World; how wonderful!
When we visit Walt Disney World on a
Disney Dining Plan, I always ask our server to let us know of options that may not be obvious to the untrained eye. For example, if you are dining at Disney's Hollywood Studios'
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant, you may want to order a refreshing concoction of Coca-Cola and flavored syrup, or a milkshake, both of which may count as your beverage on a Disney Dining Plan. In fact, we like to have ice water with our meals, and will ask for a shake to be brought out in a to-go cup at the
end of our meal, so that the kids can enjoy this sweet treat as we continue our park tour.
In short, most of the single-serve, non-alcoholic, non-souvenir beverages in a participating Walt Disney World restaurant are available as your beverage on a Disney Dining Plan. To be sure of all of our options, though, I always ask our server for more information; they often have excellent tips on getting the best value for your Disney Dining Plan dollar, as they do this every day!
Send more questions as you think of them, Ashley; we love to help!
