    Hi we were wondering the cost of a taxi from POFQ to the yachtsman steakhouse. Also although a dress codes in effect could men wear shorts to dinner there? Thanks for all your help.

    Welcome back to the Moms Panel!

    Port Orleans French Quarter is relatively near the Yach Club resort, home of the Yachtsman Steakhouse, so I would expect a cab to be somewhere between $10 and $15, including tip. We have found that the fares among destinations on Walt Disney World property seldom exceed $20 with tip.

    The Yachtman and other signature dining restaurants such as Narcoossee's and the California Grill do have a dress code, but dress shorts for both men and women are acceptable. My husband often wears khaki dress shorts and a polo shirt when we visit one of these restaurants in the summer.
