Hi Corey!
Oh boy, oh boy! It looks like you're at the beginning stages of planning a visit to T
he Most Magical Place on Earth. I don't know about you, but there is nothing quite as exciting as counting down to my Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Corey, there are several options available when planning your Disney vacation. I typically like to check out the
current special offers and then arrange my own plans on the Walt Disney World Resort website. You can also
call a friendly Cast Member at Disney Resort Hotel Reservations for assistance if you'd prefer to book over the phone. Another option is to search for a Disney Authorized Vacation Planner to help you with your plans. These travel agents have been recognized by Disney for their commitment and track record of success when helping their clients plan vacations that are practically perfect in every way!
I usually start my vacation planning by deciding where I want to stay. With more than two dozen hotels in the
Disney Resorts Collection, you're sure to find something for every budget and vacation desire. Our family likes to look for fifth sleeper rooms that are close to the theme parks since we're traveling with three kids - one of whom is still a toddler.
Disney's Art of Animation Resort includes standard rooms as well as Family Suites that can sleep up to six adults if you're traveling with a larger family. It is also conveniently located on the
Disney Skyliner for easy access to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Also located on the Skyliner route is another popular choice,
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. This was the first Disney Resort hotel I stayed in, and I still love the laid-back beach vibes and colorful decor you'll find here! If Magic Kingdom Park is at the top of your must-do list, I recommend checking out
Disney's Contemporary Resort. Not only can you walk to Magic Kingdom, but you'll also enjoy fabulous dining options and INCREDIBLE rooms - literally, they're themed after The Incredibles!
By choosing to stay at a hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection, you'll enjoy some
great resort benefits. One of our favorites is
Early Theme Park Entry. My kids don't understand the idea of sleeping in on vacation, so we're usually up early and ready to hit the theme parks when they open. This extra 30 minutes in the parks each day is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy some of our favorite attractions with lower wait times. If you choose to upgrade your stay to a
vacation package by bundling your hotel with your theme park tickets, you can enjoy
Magical Extras and even add a
dining plan if you'd like!
Corey, I hope this information has been helpful and that you enjoy a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!
Happy Planning!
Kristi
