Hi I was wondering coming from the UK and keep reading about people requesting rooms in a certain area or floor etc. How do I do this? Can I do it online before we arrive or do I do it at check in?Thanks

    Hey there, Louise!

Welcome to planDisney! Your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth will be here before you know it. I am delighted to hear that you decided to call one of the Disney Resort hotels your home away from home during your visit. There are so many great perks that come with being a Guest of a Disney Resort hotel, including extra time in the theme parks, a longer advanced dining reservation window, and, returning this summer, complimentary water park admission on your arrival day!

In addition to amazing perks, Disney hotels offer great accommodations to make your stay even more magical. And I am happy to report that you can easily submit a room request before you arrive. Preferences like a higher floor and near an elevator or transportation can be made during the online check-in process. You'll find the online check-in option on the My Disney Experience tab of the Walt Disney World website. You can also submit more specific requests by chatting with a member of the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations team by phone.

Louise, I also recommend stopping by the front desk of your hotel when you arrive. You can inquire about the requests you made and see if your preferences are available. It is important to note that while Cast Members will do their best to accommodate requested locations, it is not a guarantee. I hope this information helps you request a practically perfect room for your crew!

    We'll see ya real soon!
