Hi Stacey!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and a special welcome back from your Halloween on the High Seas adventure! I'm so excited that you and your pirate crew loved your Halloween-themed cruise! My family and I just got back from a Halloween on the High Seas voyage and loved it, as well! I'm thrilled you're thinking about embarking on a
Very Merrytime Cruise, too!
Ooo, Stacey, you asked a tough question! Christmastime is my favorite time of year and Disney makes the holidays shine with magic and pixie dust! My immediate answer would be to try and do a
Disney Vacation by Land and Sea. This would allow you to experience the holiday magic that only Disney could create at both Walt Disney World Resort and aboard Disney Cruise Line. With that being said, if you loved your most recent Halloween on the High Seas cruise, you will LOVE sailing with Captain Mickey on a Very Merrytime Cruise, too! Some of my favorite things (or moments) during a Very Merrytime Cruise are: the beautiful Christmas tree in the Lobby Atrium, Mickey's Tree Lighting Magic Ceremony, the life-sized gingerbread house made of real gingerbread and all the holiday-themed merchandise onboard! Also, if your itinerary includes a stop at Disney's private island, Castaway Cay, you'll get to see all the holiday cheer there, too!
Both November and December are wonderful times to sail. For my family, we enjoy setting sail in November because our December is always busy with holiday preparations and parties. I recommend choosing whichever month works best for you and your buccaneers!
Stacey, thanks so much for the Disney Parks Moms Panel love! We love having the opportunity to help Guests like you plan their magical vacations!
