Hi, wondering if the chocolate Easter Eggs will be on display in the Grand Floridian this year?

Hey there Eileen and welcome to planDisney!

Spring has already busted out all over the Walt Disney World Resort so it's not too much longer before Easter hops into sight. In the past, there have been some pretty sweet offerings for the holiday. Between the 50th Anniversary Celebration, 2 new nighttime spectaculars, and so much more, there haven't been many words just yet on the Easter festivities. Check back with Disney Parks Blog as they've released info on what type of fabulous activities will be hatching around the parks and Disney Resorts Collection hotels in the past. It was actually right around this time last year when we got the scoop so fingers crossed we'll know soon.

Now if it's chocolate you're after, I have to suggest you stop by The Ganachery in Disney Springs. I don't know about a chocolate Easter Egg display but watching those incredible artisans creating sandwich-sized s'mores is display enough to keep me happy. In my humble opinion, art you can eat is always the best way.

To get a dose of that springtime magic during your trip, hop on over to the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. The beautiful topiaries and gardens will make you bloom with joy. Be sure to stop by Bambi's Butterfly House. Something about being surrounded by butterflies always makes me feel so magical and like anything is possible.

Eileen, I hope that your April trip brings you all the magic it can muster!

    Happy planning!
