Hi, Tiffani, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
What a wonderful idea to take a late night (or early morning, depending on how you view it) flight back home! Doing so will definitely allow you to squeeze as much magic as possible out of your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
You shouldn’t have any problem having Bell Services hold your luggage while you visit
Magic Kingdom Park on the day of your departure. If you have a 3 a.m. flight, you will probably have a
Disney’s Magical Express reservation for around midnight (since most depart 3-4 hours ahead of your flight ). The day before you leave, you’ll receive a transportation notice in your room with your departure time indicated. The morning you check out, give yourself plenty of time to utilize the
Resort Airline Check-In service (if available at your
Walt Disney World Resort hotel). This service (available between 5 a.m. and noon) will allow you to check your bags and print your boarding passes before you head off to the Parks. If you have any carry-on items you’d like to keep with you, you can leave those with Bell Services and they’ll provide a ticket for you to use to claim them when you return to the hotel. (Make sure you do that at least 15 minutes before your Disney’s Magical Express scheduled departure). You’ll also want to make sure you hang onto that transportation notice with your indicated departure time, too, because you’ll need it to board your coach. (I would recommend taking a picture of both your transportation notice and your luggage receipt so you have an extra copy of each in your phone's camera roll.)
If you have any more questions about using Disney’s Magical Express, check out the
Frequently Asked Questions page on the Walt Disney World Resort website. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, though, feel free to come back here and ask; we’re always happy to help.
Have a magical vacation, Tiffani! We hope to see you real soon.
