Hey there Samantha and welcome to planDisney!
One of the things that this pandemic hasn't taken from us is our characters. The way we see them has had to change but they're still there waving, smiling, and showing us as much love as we show them. You can meet and see characters at locations all over the Disney Parks. Now we're not quite to huggable status just yet, so there's still some space between us as a protective measure. But they still take pictures with us and greet us with that same familiar warmth. Here are a few of my favorite character locations in my beloved
Magic Kingdom Park.
1.
See Mickey at Town Square Theater on Main Street, U.S.A. You can't come to The Most Magical Place on Earth and not visit with the mouse that started it all. Take lots of photos and make sure he knows how happy you are to see him.
2.
Princess Fairytale Hall. What is Disney without the princesses?! Go see my girl Princess Tiana and her other royal friends over in Fantasyland. Twirl with the royal girls for a one-of-a-kind experience.
3. Pro tip: As soon as you enter
Magic Kingdom Park, stop, turn around, and look up! There are often characters standing up on the balcony of the Walt Disney World Railroad station. I've seen our friends from the 100 Acre Wood, Princesses, Mickey and the gang, etc. at several points throughout the day. And they aren't just standing. They're posing for socially distanced selfies, they're interacting with guests, and they're spreading that pixie dust on everything in sight.
Samantha, I know things are still a little different right now. But on the bright side, how lucky are we to still have such a beautiful place to come to and watch our dreams come true?!
Happy planning!
Taylor
