Wondering with all the character photo ops during the Princess 1/2 marathon, if Photo Pass/Plus is an option? Just think of the ease of the runners not having to carry a camera or cell phone and the opportunity to sell more Photo Pass/Plus! WIN - WIN!!

    Hi Denise!

The characters and photos are my favorite things about running at Disney!  I love being able to re-live the race over and over again by looking through my pictures:)

This is a great idea, and has been suggested and asked for often.  In the past, runDisney has always had a race photographry company as the only official photographers on the course, and they get great "action" shots of runners.    The cast members at the character stops is actually pretty new.  In the past, there were some cast members, but usually runners would just snap a photo for each other.

RunDisney is always researching and listening to what runners want, so they may be looking at adding this feature in the future!  I would probably still want to carry my camera to get some of the more "candid" shots along the way, but this would be a great way to have professional photos with the character stops.

Thanks for your question/suggestion, and please let me know if you have any others!
