Just wondering when the 2024 calendar is opening up to book a vacation. We are supposed to come down in September 2023 but the vacation needs to be rescheduled for 2024

Hi Mike! Advanced planning is an important part of a successful (and fun) vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort! At the present time, Mickey and his pals aren’t quite ready to release vacation availability for 2024. I encourage you to keep checking the Walt Disney World Resort website for availability! I just checked with a Cast Member at the Walt Disney World Resort to see if an exception could be made given your cancelation situation. The Cast Member kindly shared that you should “check back in late spring/early summer” for rescheduling your vacation.

While you can’t officially book your new dates yet, it’s certainly fine to do some advanced planning! Because you’re rescheduling, you most likely already have your preferred resort hotel selected. One of the things I enjoy most in the planning process is selecting our Disney Dining locations! You might give some consideration as to dining options in the Disney Parks, as well as the restaurants at the resort hotels! A few favorites that I can suggest are ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Be Our Guest Restaurant and Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom Park, Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, Yak & Yeti Restaurant and Tusker House Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park, Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria at EPCOT!

Mike, you can make advanced dining reservations 60-days prior to your vacation arrival date! Many dining locations are extremely popular, so be sure to get onto your My Disney Experience account early on your 60-day mark!

    Happy Planning!
