I am wondering if you have to buy all your tickets with a park hopper option. For example can you buy one single day park ticket (one park only) and a two day park hopper ticket? Or do all of your tickets have to be the same. Thanks!

    Hi Brittany!

Thanks for coming to see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you are getting ready for a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation. The Park Hopper Option is a great addition to your theme park tickets because it will allow you to enjoy multiple theme parks on each day of your visit. I love when I can spend the morning enjoying Toy Story Land or walking down Main Street, U.S.A. and end my day exploring all of the countries around Epcot's World Showcase!

When you add the Park Hopper Option to your theme park tickets, it will allow you to "hop" between theme parks on all of your theme park days. Unfortunately, there is no way to only add the Park Hopper Option to a subset of the days on your ticket. So once you add the Park Hopper Option to your tickets, you can plan on visiting multiple theme parks throughout your vacation.

Keep in mind that you should allow one hour transportation time when you traveling between theme parks, so for our shorter trips to Walt Disney World Resort, we skip the Park Hopper Option so you can maximize our time enjoying the theme parks and use the money we saved towards extra Dole Whips and souvenEARs!

Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for information about the new and exciting things you will be able to enjoy during your vacation. Let us know if you have additional questions as you continue planning. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
