    Hello, I was wondering if you can buy tickets in the gate for the month of December. I saw that the online reservations were sold out so I wanted to find out if you can still go to the park.

    December is my favorite month to visit the Happiest Place on Earth. There is nothing like walking Down Main Street USA and taking in the sights, sounds, and smells of Christmas. Holidays at the Disneyland Resort brings so much Magic to both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park so it’s no surprise why you are wanting to visit.
     
    As you know, theme park reservations for the month of December have been very popular. At times there are no reservations left for the entire month. If theme park reservations are not available on the online calendar then you will not be able to purchase tickets at the gate because you would still need a theme park reservation in order to enter. I suggest that you keep looking for reservations as they continue to be released on a rolling basis. I just checked right now and there is a reservation available for this week. I’ve been checking every day and I’ve been able to find one or two openings so if you can make your dates flexible you may be able to find something this month.
