I was wondering if the buses run between parks or do we have to go back to our resort each time we would like to go to a different park?

    Hi Tammy,

The buses don't run directly from park to park.  However, you won't necessarily have to go back to your resort each time you want to park hop.  When you are leaving a park, you'll want to travel to the nearest resort to the park you are trying to get to, or travel to the Transportation & Ticket Center and switch buses there.  Hopefully that makes sense.  If not, here are some examples:

    To get from:

    • Animal Kingdom to Magic Kingdom - Take a bus to the Transportation & Ticket Center then take either the boat or monorail to the park.
    • Magic Kingdom to Epcot - Take monorail to Transportation & Ticket Center then transfer to the Epcot monorail.
    • Hollywood Studios to Epcot - Take boat launch directly to the park.

If you go to www.ourlaughingplace.com, there is a tool called Transportation Wiz.  You plug in where you're traveling from and where you want to go, and it will give you transportation options with approximate travel times.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
