Wondering what the bus transportation is like to get to the parks for the Mod vs Value resorts. Trying to decide if we want to go to a Value resort or a moderate. The price isn't a worry, more thinking of proximity for transportation & wait times

Hi Chris! It is always a tough decision when choosing a Walt Disney Resort for your vacation. I have stayed in almost every resort on property and I can honestly say that I enjoyed my stay at the Value resort just as much as the other ones.

Look through all the Resort choices and compare the amenities of each. The Value resorts are those that are located usually the furthest from the parks with slightly smaller rooms. Amenities are few such as bathroom items and room perks. You gain more and more as you go up to the next levels of resorts with Deluxe offering the most to the guests.

As far as transportation goes some of the Value resorts have their own dedicated buses to the parks. Animation and Pop Century do not share while the All Star Resorts often share with each other. The moderate resorts will have their own buses but Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter share. The closer in location to the parks the shorter the trip but as far as waiting for a bus all resorts will have them running every 15-20 minutes.

Personally, I prefer a good moderate resort such as Port Orleans if I know I am going to spend more time in my room. If you are simply not going to be taking advantage of the resort then save the money and stay at a Value.
